Grid-Based "Bullet-Hell-Lite" Combat

A few words from our Narrator 

You are FRIDGE-MAN!!! A sentient refrigerator who must defeat food monsters created by none other than DONUT-MAN!!! Yeah I know, it is a lot of hyphenated names and over emphasized words, but don't worry.  I'll be here holding your hand every step of the way... probably... most likely... maybe don't count on me. Now get out there and beat up an angry slice of bacon or maybe defeat a fiery waffle. Who knows what awaits? (The answer is me. I know.)

 Fridge-Man

Part fridge and part man. That hyphen surely suggests so. To stop the wrath of the food king himself the remaining survivors of the human race created Fridge-Man to fight for humanity. How was he created you ask? Well now you are asking too many questions. In fact, I don't even feel like giving you descriptions for the other characters now.

Pancake Monster

I was serious. I am upset that you even asked. I had a nice story all laid out for you, but you just had to get all inquisitive. For all you know, I was just about to explain how the humans created Fridge-Man. Oh well. See that weird pancake thing. That's a Pancake Monster. That's all you're getting.

Donut-Man

Ah who am I kidding, I can't stay mad at you. *Ahem.* Pretend I have a deep ominous voice and there is spooky lightning in the background.  Donut-Man, once believed to be a friend of the humans, ravished the lands with his food army. After creating his new world he crowned himself the Food King. All he does is kind of just stand menacingly in his kingdom, but he allows his food minions to run amok and wreak havoc so he has to be stopped.
